The coldest air of the season will linger over much of the United Kingdom on Monday. Temperatures will remain below normal for Scotland, Wales and England.
Gusty westerly winds ahead of a cold front will bring milder air into Northern Ireland and Ireland; through the combination of clouds, rain and wind will make it feel cold throughout the day.
Rainfall will reach western Scotland early Monday morning, spreading southeast into northern England, Wales and Ireland during the afternoon.
This rain will then cross southern and central England Monday night before pushing into western Europe on Tuesday.
Behind this front gusty northwest winds will blow across all of Ireland and the United Kingdom on Tuesday with showers.
