Los Angeles will continue to have a stretch of sunny, dry weather as temperatures trend upwards into midweek.
"While daytime highs hover near average in the upper 60s F to start the week, an upward swing is expected into Wednesday," AccuWeather Meteorologist Alyson Hoegg said.
Plenty of sun is in store as highs approach the 70-degree mark.
By Wednesday, some inland areas could hit 80 F as downtown Los Angeles has highs in the upper 70s, above normal for this time of year.

While a system will bring rain and snow to areas north of the city, Los Angeles will not receive any beneficial precipitation.
Temperatures will continue to hover above normal as skies stay sunny and bright.
