Chilly, winterlike weather will settle into the Minneapolis area to close out the month and last into the start of December.
Temperatures through Monday are forecast to run in the middle to upper 30s, right around normal for the end of November. This will be followed up with overnight lows around 20 F.
While this is normal for this time of year, people in Minneapolis may find this to feel rather cold after a relatively mild November.
Dry conditions will hold through the weekend in Minneapolis, good for those traveling over the Thanksgiving weekend or heading to the store to do some holiday shopping.
This will change by Monday as a storm system moves across the Plains.
With cold air entrenched over the region, the system will bring periods of snow to Minneapolis, starting on Monday afternoon and lasting into Tuesday.
Several inches are likely to fall in the city from this storm, disrupting traffic for the first half of the week.
