UK: Dryness, Tranquility Persists Wednesday; Turning Stormy from Thursday into Friday

High pressure stationed over the North Sea on Wednesday will bring one more day of seasonable warmth and general tranquility across the Isles.
The exception will be along England's South Coast, where a few showers and thunderstorms could put a damper on outdoor activities.

The wet weather will begin to creep northward Wednesday night, encompassing much of Southern England and approaching the Midlands by daybreak Thursday.
High temperatures Thursday will be on the warm side, especially in the south, with local highs in excess of 75 F (24 C). Humidity will also be noticeable across the Midlands and Southern England.

Widespread Rain in Copenhagen, Munich, and Glasgow

Showers and thunderstorms could be on the heavier side from Thursday into Friday, when flash flooding can occur.
Over an inch (25 mm) of rain can fall quickly; water can inundate low-lying and poor drainage areas.

A cool front sweeping through the country on Friday will help to dry the region out later on Friday into Friday night.
Cooler, drier and more comfortable conditions are in store for most places on Saturday.
