The weather will be fine this weekend in London and across southeast England. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday will reach the mid- and upper 20s in the nation's capitol.
An approaching cold front will spell unsettled weather for the northern and western reaches of the UK Saturday.
Gusty winds and showers will buffet Ireland and Scotland, mainly during the afternoon. Highs across Ireland will be in the upper 10s Saturday. Similar readings are expected in Scotland, but the Highlands will be near or below 15 C.
Rainfall amounts from Saturday's front will be fairly light. Five to 10 mm of rain is expected from Ireland to Scotland.
This front will lose steam as it moves further east on Sunday. The front will stall across western England, keeping showers from reaching London. Little more than an odd shower or two will affect parts of Ireland and Scotland.
Showers will reach toward London on Monday.
The long term pattern will change very little next week. Central and eastern Europe will continue to be quite hot, while the UK stays cool and occasionally wet.
