Parts of the Central and Midwestern United States are under the threat of severe weather Tuesday evening."A line of severe storms will continue to press eastward into tonight across southern Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri and will bring damaging winds, flooding downpours, and a couple of tornadoes, especially this evening across Illinois and southern Wisconsin," AccuWeather Meteorologist Jordan Root said.
"Wind gusts up to 65 mph will bring down trees and power lines, while heavy rain will lead to flash flooding. These storms will likely pass through Chicago between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time," he said.
