Residents of Boston will want to keep their umbrellas handy through Monday.
While the mid-Atlantic ends the weekend on a dry note, a stray shower will swing through Boston on Sunday.
The showers will be spotty in nature, allowing some places and parts of the day to be dry. Those with outdoor plans should prepare for brief interruptions but most activities will likely not have to be cancelled.
There will be an uptick in showers on Monday, but a washout is not expected.

Residents will just want to keep umbrellas and rain gear handy. The heaviest showers can even produce small hail.

In addition to the showers, both Sunday and Monday will be on the cool side for late April with highs in the lower to middle 50s. A high near 60 F is more common this time of year.
Umbrellas can be left at home on Tuesday as dry weather returns.
