A severe weather outbreak is
underway in several states across the Plains and South, creating a
dangerous situation for millions as damage is left behind.
As seen
in the slideshow above, the biggest threats from this severe weather
event are damaging winds, flooding, hail and tornadoes. On the first day
of the multi-day severe weather outbreak, all four were reported.

Baseball-sized
hail was reported in parts of Louisiana, Texas and Kansas on Friday,
and winds gusted as high as 80 mph in the Fort Worth area, according to
local storm reports.
Severe thunderstorms, hail, damaging winds
and tornadoes are expected to continue throughout the weekend in the
