LIVE: Storms Unleash Torrential Rain, Damaging Winds from Arkansas to New York

July 8,2014; 9:17PM,EDT

Severe thunderstorms continue to bring the threat of torrential rainfall, and strong winds to areas from Tennessee to New York state into Wednesday.
"The Hudson Valley through eastern Pennsylvania including the New York City and Philadelphia metro areas, into Delaware and eastern Maryland, will face the prospect of torrential rainfall and damaging wind gusts, perhaps in excess of 60 mph," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Randy Adkins said.
The strong storms have already left thousands without power in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and New York.
Tennessee and Arkansas will also remain at risk for flooding into Wednesday, Adkins said.
