After a bout with midweek showers and storms, Seattle will have drier, pleasant weather that will carry into next week.
"The weather theme into early next week will be rising temperatures as a large ridge of high pressure expands across the western part of the country," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said.

High temperatures by Saturday and Sunday will approach the 80-degree mark underneath sunny skies.
Those with outdoor activities planned will have enjoyable weather conditions for the weekend. For those spending extended periods of time outdoors, staying hydrated and applying sunscreen can assist in combating the heat.

By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be near 85 F each afternoon, which is nearly 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
"The warmth will continue through the remainder of week," he said.
