Warmth Ahead for Minneapolis Next Week

Despite late week showers and cooler weather this week in the city, warmer days are ahead for Minneapolis late this weekend and into next week.

Beginning Saturday, temperatures will rise nearing 60 F with times of clouds and sun. Temperatures will hover there for the rest of the weekend.

Through the week, overnight temperatures will remain in the 40s.
For the start of next week, the mercury will rise to break the 60 F mark on Monday and will continue to increase through Thursday.
Mostly cloudy skies and some spotty showers are in order for the city Tuesday and Wednesday, but temperatures will reach into the 70s by Wednesday afternoon.
