While it will remain warm on Friday, the record high of 87 F set in 1945 will not be challenged. The high is expected to be in the mid-70s.
Spotty showers and more clouds will return for the weekend as a storm over the Pacific approaches, and the limited sunshine will hold temperatures down. Highs will be in the low 60s on Saturday and Sunday.
