Rain to Avoid Philly Tuesday, Wednesday

Philadelphia will continue with a stretch of dry weather after the weekend showers and last week's torrential rain.
According to Northeast Weather Expert Dave Dombek, "Showers affecting Ohio and Michigan are projected to either slide south of Philadelphia or evaporate moving farther to the east Monday night."
A few drops of rain cannot be ruled out Monday night as the system races through the area.
Those with outdoor plans should be happy to hear that dry weather will hold Tuesday through Wednesday.

That is quite a change from last Wednesday, when 4.42 inches of rain poured down.
Temperatures will rise to around the 70-degree mark Tuesday and Wednesday, which is typical for early May.

On Thursday, warmth forecast to build over the South Central states will attempt to surge into the region.
The leading edge of the warmth can set off spotty showers and thunderstorms.
Temperatures will flirt with 80 F Friday through Sunday, even though a storm system will move in with the chance of more numerous showers over the weekend.
