Memorial Day is shaping up to be warm for Pittsburgh but only after fresh cool air arrives.
A shower or thunderstorm will dot Pittsburgh through Thursday morning.
Drier weather and less humid air will return for the afternoon when temperatures will rise to a seasonable high in the lower 70s.

Cooler air will filter in for Friday, holding temperatures to the middle 60s. Residents will also want to keep an umbrella handy with a shower or two set to cross the area.
The weather will improve for outdoor holiday festivities this weekend as temperatures gradually rebound.
