Beginning Monday, temperatures will break the 60 F mark in Minneapolis and remain there throughout the middle of the week.
"It will turn more seasonable toward midweek as southerly winds push highs into the mid-60s," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline.
Monday will see time of clouds and sun throughout the day with partly cloudy conditions at night.
The seasonable weather continues on Tuesday with highs in the mid-60s and mostly cloudy skies. In the evening, a shower is possible in spots followed by rain and drizzle.
Wet weather will move into the area on Wednesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day and occasional rain and drizzle in the evening.
"The warmer air will team up with a developing storm over the central Plains to bring some showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday," Mussoline said.

By Thursday, temperatures will hit the 70s, but strong storms with the potential for damaging winds and hail are forecast for the area. The threat of severe storms will extend north of the city and the possibility of an isolated tornado can't be ruled out.
The weather on Friday won't be as severe, but it it will be mostly cloudy and cooler throughout the day.
