The welcome stretch of dry weather in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, will hold only through Tuesday.
An area of high pressure will generally promote dry weather Monday and Tuesday as temperatures gradually rebound. At most, a brief shower will lightly dampen a few communities Monday night.
Lawns and gardens that became soaked on Friday and were deemed too wet to mow or plant in over the weekend will have a chance to dry out.
The swollen Susquehanna River will continue to recede, while other outdoor activities will be able to go on as scheduled without interruptions.

Temperatures will climb into the middle 70s on Tuesday. While the high on Tuesday will be a few degrees above normal, summerlike heat and humidity will remain suppressed south of Pennsylvania.
Residents will once again be faced with weather-related disruptions to outdoor plans as a storm system dropping down from the Great Lakes returns showers and thunderstorms.
The afternoon will likely be more active than the morning and some of the thunderstorms could turn heavy and gusty.
Temperatures will then take a tumble later in the week as the storm will also open the door for fresh cooler air to arrive.
Looking ahead, the Memorial Day holiday weekend is likely to start with near- to below-normal temperatures with gradual warming through Memorial Day. However, it will likely not be hot and humid for the unofficial start to summer.
