Showers will continue in the Seattle area through Monday, but afterwards, drier weather will move into the area for most of the week.
A disturbance pushing onshore across the Pacific Northwest will bring a couple of isolated showers on Monday.
The best chance of showers could be south of Seattle, down into Oregon said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Erik Pindrock.
However, the disturbance will eventually push into the Southwest and inner Mountain West, leading to a dry out for the region, Pindrock said.
The transition to dry weather will begin on Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s and periods of clouds and sunshine.
Temperatures will break the 70 F mark on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will be rather cloudy, but Thursday will feature times of clouds and sun.

Pindrock said another system could threaten the area with a shower on Friday, but "nothing that's going to be real heavy." Friday will see highs remain in the low 70s.
For Memorial Day weekend, temperatures will sit in the upper 60s throughout the weekend with the chance for a shower on Sunday.
