Drier weather is set to return to Chicago this weekend.
"[T]he storm responsible for the chill will weaken and move away by the weekend," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said.

Temperatures will be in the upper-50s until rising into the 60s on Saturday.
"The weekend should be mostly dry, but a stray shower cannot be ruled out," Mussoline said.
The chance for showers will remain into the early part of next week, with temperatures rising into the 70s by midweek.
"Heading into early next week, a weak, quick moving storm will bring clouds along with a spotty shower on Monday," Mussoline said, adding it will also be quite cool with highs in the lower 60s.
Showers on Monday could put a damper on the Chicago Cubs versus the Chicago White Sox game Monday night at Wrigley Field. Fans in attendance should plan to bring a rain jacket or a poncho.
"It will turn increasingly warmer Tuesday and Wednesday as winds become southerly by midweek," he said. "Highs should make a return to the 70s next Wednesday, but the warmth could be accompanied by a shower or thunderstorm as a warm front moves through the city."
