A snow fall is on the way for parts of western Texas Thursday night into Friday morning.
Cities to see the white stuff will include El Paso, Marfa, Guadalupe Pass and Midland.
One to three inches are expected, with most accumulation occurring late Thursday night when temperatures dip into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Locally, there is potential for a half a foot of snow on non-paved surfaces. However, drivers should exercise caution late Thursday night as roadways may be slick.
The snow will taper early Friday morning and dissipate as it heads East. Accumulation will melt rather quickly Friday afternoon when temperatures rise to around 40 degrees F.
