Generally dry and mild weather will be found across much of Germany to close the weekend despite strong storms moving across western Europe.
Germany will largely escape heavy rain and damaging winds as two storms blasting in from the Atlantic Ocean weaken over France.
The most intense portion of these storms will pass to the south of Germany, but they will still bring a little rain to portions of the country.
The most likely locations for rainfall will be far-southwestern areas from Sarland to western and southern Baden-Wuertemberg.
For central Germany, from Hanover to Nuremberg and Munich, dry weather will prevail. Dry conditions and periods of sunshine will help to make it feel milder than recent days.
The coldest air across the country will occur across the northeast as a cooling wind brings chilly air from Scandinavia. Cooler conditions will help to bring spotty rain and snow showers to areas northeast of Berlin.

While colder air will return to northeast on Sunday, this weekend will otherwise feature mild air across the country.
Highs will generally range from 6-9 C (43-48 F) across western and southern Germany, when highs of 1-5 C (34-41 F) are more common.
Highs around 7 C (middle 40s F) will be a welcome change for residents in Munich, where highs last weekend struggled to climb above freezing. The previous weekend yielded highs around minus 7 (20 F) as bitter cold gripped the country.
The dry weather will give residents an opportunity to take a walk or get some outside chores done that were put on the back burner amid the cold snap.
Residents should not get used to the mild weather. Colder air from Scandinavia will spread farther across Germany during the first half of next week, leading to subfreezing highs gripping northern and eastern areas at midweek.
