Though the weekend will not be a washout, the threat for showers will dampen many outdoor plans across the United Kingdom.
Hundreds of thousands of people will be heading outdoors to music festivals taking place this weekend. Three of the biggest are T in the Park, Wireless Festival and British Summer Time Festival.

T in the Park will be taking place at Strathallan Castle, near Perth, Scotland. Those heading out to the event will want to be prepared for a couple of showers each day from Friday through Sunday. A band of steadier rain will move through on Saturday evening.
High temperatures are expected to be around 19 C (66 F) each day.
Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park and British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park will be taking place in London from Friday through Sunday with a series of concerts.
Sports will also be on the main stage this weekend as the finals of Wimbledon take place on Saturday and Sunday.
While the majority of the weekend is expected to be rain-free, an increase in humidity will make it feel quite warm at times.
