Warm weather to kick off week in Germany as thundery showers move to the north

Warm air and largely dry weather across Germany will make for pleasant outdoor conditions during the start of the new week.
After showers and thunderstorms over the weekend, drier air will funnel into Germany on Monday.
Any light jacket or long-sleeved shirt worn on Monday morning will not be needed in the afternoon as temperatures rebound to above seasonable levels.
Abundant sunshine will create even higher AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures.

Monday will be ideal for completing yard work or enjoying other outdoor activities, but those spending prolonged time outdoors may want to apply sunscreen.
While there will be a chance for spotty showers from North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate to northern Bavaria, these showers will not bring significant impacts. Rain will remain light and showers in any given location and should not last longer than 30 minutes.
Check AccuWeather's MinuteCast® for minute-by-minute forecasts for your location.
On Tuesday, a cold front moving across the country will bring more numerous showers and thunderstorms across the country. This is especially true across the north in areas from Cologne and Hamburg to Berlin where the chance for rain will be the greatest.
Despite the isolated rainfall, Tuesday will still be another warm day with temperatures a little higher than average.

Detailed forecast for Berlin

When compared to Tuesday, Monday should be the better day for outdoor plans as Monday's showers will tend to be more isolated, produce light rainfall and only impact a small percentage of the day.
Regardless of the isolated nature, residents are still reminded to seek shelter as soon as thunder is heard to avoid being struck by lightning.
