A surge of heat and humidity will spread over Germany just in time for the weekend.
High pressure will sit to the east of Germany, pulling in warm and moist air from the Mediterranean Sea, leading to the highest temperatures so far this month.
Anyone with outdoor plans will want to plan for the warmth and sunshine with sunscreen and plenty of drinking water.
The increase in humidity along with the higher temperatures will result in AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures near 32 C (90 F) during the afternoon hours on Sunday across southern Germany.
Some of the most intense heat will be felt in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich where relief will not arrive until Tuesday.
Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden will also endure unseasonable heat and humidity, with the peak expected on Sunday. Temperatures will climb to around 29 C (84 F) during the afternoon.
Temperatures will trend downward each day during the first half of next week, returning to normal levels by Wednesday and Thursday.
