While temperatures rebounded this weekend, a stronger surge of summer warmth will once again take hold of Germany by the middle of the new week.
High pressure shifting eastward across central Europe will open the door for even warmer air to arrive and send highs trending upward from Monday to Wednesday.
At midweek, temperatures will be 4-6 degrees Celsius (5-10 degrees Fahrenheit) above normal throughout Germany. Highs of 26-30 C (78-86 F) will be common.
The warmth at midweek will be a noticeable change from the highs of 20-23 C (68-73 F) predicted across northern Germany for Monday. This includes in Bremen and Hamburg.
The same high pressure causing temperatures to soar will dry out Germany for Tuesday and Wednesday, giving residents ample opportunities to enjoy sporting events and other outdoor activities. Lingering lawn or garden work from the weekend can be completed.

Care should be taken to apply sunscreen prior to spending lengthy periods of time outdoors as abundant sunshine returns.
As temperatures initially rise across Germany, humidity levels will remain comfortably low. However, more humid air will surge in from west to east from Wednesday into Thursday ahead of an approaching storm system.
As humidity levels rise, so will the difference between actual and AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures, especially amid sunshine.
Disruptive showers and thunderstorms will once again erupt later in the week as the storm system clashes with the humid air and cuts into the heat.
