After above-average warmth closes out the week, more seasonable conditions will arrive Sunday and into early next week across the Seattle area.
"Friday will feature partly sunny skies with another warm afternoon," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Edwards said. "High temperatures will climb into the lower 80s F, approaching the record high of 84 set back in 1973."
It will cool off some on Saturday with highs in the lower 70s with some showers in spots.
Fans headed to Safeco Field to watch the Mariners play the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim this weekend will want to have a rain jacket handy for Saturday's game.
