The UEFA Champions League comes to a close Saturday evening in Milan, Italy, but showers could become a hindrance to players.
Real Madrid will face Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Final, set for 20:45 CET Saturday evening at San Siro Stadium in Milan.
While the daylight hours of Saturday will be dry and warm with a mixture of clouds and sun, the arrival of showers will coincide with the much-anticipated match.

"The showers will make for a slicker playing surface and the wet ball could be harder for the goalies to handle as well," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Baker said.
A thunderstorm could also rumble and trigger a lightning delay.

"The best chance for any thunderstorm would be at the start of the match," Baker said.
It will be warm for players and fans with temperatures near 24 C (75 F) to start the match. Such a temperature is more typical during the day than in the evening.

After the match is over, showers will still be around as the fans of the winning club celebrate on Saturday night.
More numerous and drenching showers and thunderstorms will follow for Sunday, threatening to interfere with the UEFA Champions Festival.
The downpours could also lead to slower travel for the fans heading home. There may be flight delays and motorists will face reduced visibility and a heightened risk of vehicles hydroplaning when traveling at highway speeds.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected on Monday.
