Wet weather will frequent the Windy City through the middle of the week before dry conditions return to the area.
People in the city will want to keep their umbrellas handy through Wednesday evening as several rounds of rain and thunderstorms move through.
While no thunder is expected to produce severe weather, frequent lightning associated with the storms can still be dangerous.
The clouds and rain will help keep temperatures near to slightly below normal through Wednesday with highs in the middle 60s F.
While a normal high for this time of year is 69 F, the lack of sunshine may help make it feel a bit cooler.
