Philadelphia: First Week of November to Feel More Like September

A warm week is in store for the Philadelphia area as a November El Niño pattern takes over across much of the nation.
High temperatures most days during the first week of November will be in the 70s and will run 10-15 degrees above average. Nighttime lows will range from near normal to 10 degrees above average.
The weather will seem more like late September, rather than early November.

Much of the week is likely to be dry.

A couple of showers may dot the area on Thursday. A surge of very warm air is poised to move in on Friday, when temperatures could challenge record high levels.
The flow of air much of the week will originate from the Southwest states and will moderate as it moves northeastward across the nation.

Later this weekend and into the part of the second week of November, rounds of Pacific, southern Canada and Southwestern United States air will affect the region. Without an arctic component, temperatures most days are likely to average near to above normal. The coolest days will be during episodes of clouds and rain.
By the middle of November, the average high temperature in Philadelphia is in the middle 50s.
