The storm system that has been bringing rain to the Portland, Ore., area is weakening, but will bring more rain, some snow and colder air into Thursday.
"Overnight Wednesday, the low temperature will be in the mid- to upper 30s," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Andy Mussoline.
The overnight low on Tuesday was about 15 degrees warmer, at 45 degrees F.
Daytime temperatures on Thursday will struggle to reach the low 50s. Some lingering showers are also possible.
"A few inches of snow could accumulate in the Cascades at altitudes above 2,500 feet," Mussoline said. "Travel over the passes could be slippery early Thursday morning."
