Seattle: Dry Conditions to Continue This Week

Dry weather will be the theme for much of this week in Seattle before showers return for the weekend.
Temperatures typical of late August will accompany the stretch of dry weather with highs most days this week topping out around 75 F.
Wednesday will be the exception to this when temperatures briefly spike into the lower 80s.
Most days this week will also feature plenty of sunshine, although smoke from wildfires across the Pacific Northwest can make it appear hazy in some areas.

The dry conditions will be favorable for those looking to spend some time in the outdoors without needing a raincoat or umbrella.
This includes baseball fans heading out to the Seattle Mariners games on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.

A flip in the weather pattern late in the week will signal the end of the dry weather as the chance of showers returns for Friday.
This will be followed up by more widespread showers on Saturday and Sunday with the potential for some steadier rain.
