Dry weather will return to central Pennsylvania after a cold front moved out of the region on Thursday.
Relief is in store for areas that have struggled with AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures reaching the middle and upper 90s F over the past several days. Daytime highs will reach into the middle 80s for most of the next several days. Monday will be the warmest day, with a high temperature reaching the lower 90s.
Northeast Extended Regional Weather Forecast
Thanks to lower humidity values, RealFeel temperatures should be much closer to actual daytime high temperatures through the weekend.

The break from the rainfall is a good thing for the region since the city of Harrisburg received about 176 percent of their normal rainfall since June 1. Other areas such as York, Pennsylvania, received about 185 percent of their normal rainfall in this time period.

This dry weather favors outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing as well as a trip to Hershey Park.
By Monday showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast. Some thunderstorms may produce hail and damaging winds. Once these storms pass, Tuesday looks dry with a high in the mid 80s.
