UK Warming Trend Leads to Showers

June 15,2015; 11:11PM,EDT

A warming trend in much of the United Kingdom during the first half of the week will be leading to outbreaks of showers.
In England and Wales, temperature in warmer places, among them the London area, will reach 20 to 22 degrees C on Tuesday, then 23 to 25 degrees C on Wednesday.
High pressure centered southwest of the British Isles will afford widespread sunny intervals, rainy outbreaks being confined almost exclusively to northern Scotland.

Tomorrow, showery or rainy outbreaks will translate southward into Northern England and North Wales, focusing the warmest weather into southern and eastern England.
A look ahead to Thursday will find resurgent high pressure giving dry, sunlit weather across most of the United Kingdom.
