Sunny skies and cooler conditions will be the rule this week in Chicago.
Daytime highs will range from the mid-50s to low 60s through Thursday. A normal high temperature for this time of year in Chicago is 64 F.
"Although it will be chillier than normal, the afternoons will still be quite pleasant," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said. "A cool, Canadian high pressure system is responsible for the early week chill," he added.

The Cubs will host the Pittsburgh Pirates for a three-game series beginning Monday at 7:05 p.m. Fans heading to the ballpark will want to dress warmly with evening temperatures reaching the 40s.
As the week progresses, the cooler conditions will dissipate, according to Mussoline.
"The chill will wane late this week and upcoming weekend as highs head toward 70 degrees F," Mussoline said.
