After a blast of frigid air moved into the city Wednesday, no reprieve is in sight through the weekend.
Thursday and Friday will fail to climb far above 20 degrees F, though it will be considerably milder than the days that follow.
Another reinforcing shot of cold air will arrive in time for the weekend.
By Saturday, highs will drop into the single digits. Wind will make the air feel even colder, as RealFeel® Temperatures drop to as many as 15 degrees F below zero.

Saturday will be, by far, the coldest day of the week though Sunday doesn't show a significant improvement. Highs will just barely enter the double digits.
Those who must spend time outside should take proper measures to cope with the harsh cold. The arctic air will be cold enough at times to cause frostbite on exposed skin in only 30 minutes.
