A powerful nor'easter struck parts of the mid-Atlantic and New England
from Feb. 8 through Feb. 10 of 1969. The storm was also nicknamed the
Mayor Lindsay Storm, after the New York City mayor was criticized for
how the city handled the storm. Overall the storm killed at least 94
people.
