Live: Severe Storms in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts

Thunderstorms have already caused damage in West Virginia and Maryland, and more such thunderstorms will threaten other parts of the Northeast on this last day of the holiday weekend.
The first severe thunderstorm of the day erupted near the far western border of Maryland and West Virginia, causing damage in and around Kingwood, W. Va.
Additional powerful thunderstorms will continue to ignite from central Maryland to central Pennsylvania and Massachusetts through Sunday afternoon.

The danger zone across central Pennsylvania will shift to eastern Pennsylvania Sunday evening.
Blinding and flooding downpours and damaging winds are the main concerns. A few thunderstorms will also produce hail, while an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

6:41 p.m. Sunday: Within 45 minutes 2.3 inches of rain fell in Chenango Bridge, N.Y.
5:55 p.m. Sunday: In less than one hour 2.2 inches of rain fell in Port Dickinson, N.Y.
5:28 p.m. Sunday: A trained spotter reports tree limbs down and damaged street lights near the hospital in Williamsport, Pa.
5:08 p.m. Sunday: A tree and wires are down on a house in Williamsport, Pa., according to a 911 Call Center.
4:56 p.m. Sunday: Lightning has caused two house fires in Kingston and Palmer, Mass.
4:55 p.m. Sunday: Trees reported down by a trained spotter in Mifflinburg, Pa.
4:50 p.m. Sunday: A new severe thunderstorm watch box has been issued for eastern Pennsylvania and southeastern New York until 10 p.m. This box includes Philadelphia, but AccuWeather.com meteorologists feel that the majority of the severe thunderstorms will remain north and west of the city.
4:40 p.m. Sunday: Pennsylvania D.O.T reports that a tree is blocking U.S. Route 22 in Lewistown, Pa.
4:38 p.m. Sunday: Severe t-storm downed wires in Centre Hall, PA, and a tree onto a road in Millheim, PA, according to 911 Call Center.
4:12 p.m. Sunday: AccuWeather.com's Vice President of Digital Media Content and Operations captured this photo of flooding in State College, Pa.
3:59 p.m. Sunday: Flash flooding and reportedly one person injured from a lightning strike in Taghkanic State Park, N.Y.
3:55 p.m. Sunday: Emergency Management reports multiple trees down in Mount Union, Pa.
3:42 p.m. Sunday: Quarter-szied hail reported in Belchertown, Mass.
3:21 p.m. Sunday: A thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds and flash flooding heading toward State College, Pa.
3:12 p.m. Sunday: Reports from 911 Call Centers near Saxton and Hooversville, Pa. report that trees have fallen and are on roads after a thunderstorm moved through the area.
2:30 p.m. Sunday: Thunderstorm with a history of producing damaging wind is heading toward Altoona and DelGrosso's Amusement Park, Pa.
2:22 p.m. Sunday: Spotter reports and radar estimates indicate that more 1.33 inches of rain has fallen in less than 30 minutes across southern Somerset Co., Pa., heightening concerns for flash flooding.

2:12 p.m. Sunday: Drenching and gusty thunderstorm is closing in on Bedford and Everett, Pa. This includes the section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
1:55 p.m. Sunday: Large tree, downed by a strong thunderstorm, is blocking State Route 281 near Friedens, Pa.

1:52 p.m. Sunday: Another band of strong thunderstorms, capable of unleashing damaging winds and hail, is targeting the cities of Chatham, N.Y., and Barrington, Mass.
1:43 p.m. Sunday: Thunderstorms with a history of producing damage are racing through south-central Pennsylvania, heading toward the communities of Breezewood and Portage, as well as Blue Knob State Park and the Johnstown Flood National Memorial Historic Site.
1:15 p.m. Sunday: Strong thunderstorm winds downed multiple trees in Friendsville, Md.
1:14 p.m. Sunday: A severe thunderstorm watch is now in effect from the panhandle of West Virginia and northern Virginia to central Pennsylvania until 8 p.m. Washington, D.C., and Baltimore are included in this watch box, but AccuWeather.com meteorologists feel the majority of the strongest thunderstorms will remain to the north and west of these cities.
12:45 p.m. Sunday: Multiple trees, electric poles and power lines were downed in and around Kingwood, W. Va., according to 911 Call Center. Downed trees are blocking Route 72.
12:36 p.m. Sunday: Thunderstorm capable of spawning a tornado was located near Kingwood, W. Va., and was heading northeastward toward Fayette Co., Pa.
