Almost a week of hot temperatures across the United Kingdom has relaxed a bit on Saturday as the high was near 24C (75F), but that cooler air turned hotter again for Sunday.
The hot weather has been not only deadly to between 540 and 760 people, according to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, but has also caused some fires to develop Thursday and Friday.
A fire in Epping Forest, near East London, had more than 100 firefighters tackling the blaze. Making the fire worse is the lack of rainfall, as only 0.04 of an inch of rain fell on London/Heathrow airport from July 1st through July 20th. This is only three percent of normal rainfall for the month.
The temperature picked up again on Sunday, as the high for London climbed to 27C(81F). The strong high pressure overhead will also keep things quite sunny as any clouds are likely to be in the morning hours.

Due to the heat, there are several heat warnings over most of England and more are likely for Wales and into southern Scotland for the start of the work week. High temperatures Monday and Tuesday could approach 32C(90F) again for southern and central parts of England.
Monday afternoon, and more likely Tuesday afternoon, could start to see some relief from the heat as showers and thunderstorms form. The storms for Tuesday through Wednesday could even spark severe weather.
Severe weather for Britain is not uncommon in the summer, and July and August is a likely time to see any strong storms. Any of these storms Tuesday into Tuesday night could have heavy rainfall and also stronger wind gusts.
By Wednesday, the hot temperatures break and we see temperatures dropping to closer to normal.
