Following the blizzard conditions that struck Chicago at the start the week with more than a foot of snow, another storm is set to sweep across the region by midweek.
While the storm will be weaker, Chicago residents can expect a few more inches of snow to accumulate beginning Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Highs will remain in the 20s throughout the middle of the week, with breezy conditions.

Beginning Tuesday night, snow can be expected across the region, accumulating 1-3 inches.
"There are no big storms, but a clipper-like system can bring a few inches on Wednesday," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Mark Paquette said.

Drier weather can be expected for the remainder of the week following the snow, but temperatures will slide into the teens.
Sunshine will return on Thursday with the temperature sinking to around 15 F. Similar weather can be expected on Friday.
