Dry and warm weather that moved into Germany over the weekend will last through the start of the new week.
"It will be a generally pleasant day across Germany on Sunday," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys.
High pressure will usher in warmer air for Sunday, allowing for afternoon temperatures to top out around 20 C (upper 60s F), just above normal for late-May.
With the high dominating the weather pattern again on Monday, temperatures will continue to rise into the lower 20s C (lower 70s F).
The warmest air across the country will be found in western areas from western North Rhine-Westphalia to Saarland where highs will be as warm as 25 C (77 F) in a few areas.

While high pressure will be across the country, there could still be a few afternoon showers or thunderstorms during the early parts of the week.
While any rainfall will be the exception across the country, anyone with outdoor activities will want to remain vigilant and move indoors if thunder is heard.
The greatest chance for rain will be across northern areas on Monday and Tuesday. Any shower should remain brief and is not expected to bring significant impacts to outdoor plans.
