Despite recent heat; May 2017 could still go down as one of the coldest Mays on record.

Despite the recent summer-like heat-wave, with temperatures plummeting in some cases over 30 degrees from Friday afternoon's high temperatures on Saturday (May 20), thanks to the passage of a sharp cold front right out of Canada through the area early Saturday morning,May 2017 could still go down as one of the coldest on record,what with temperatures expected to stay in the 60's and 70's for the rest of May 2017,giving us below normal highs on some days and above normal highs on others.
