Rounds of rain and thunderstorms will cross through Dallas this week and threaten outdoor activities in the city.
"The severe threat will be significantly less than in recent days, but a couple of gusty thunderstorms can rumble through the area," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said. "However, flooding will be a primary threat since repeated thunderstorms over the same areas are possible."
The chance of a shower or thunderstorm will be around each day through Friday. Motorists who encounter a water-covered roadway should find an alternate route rather than attempt to drive through it.

Daytime highs will stay in the mid-70s through Wednesday, before reaching the low 80s on Thursday and Friday. A temperature in the mid-80s is common for this time of year in Dallas.

The wet weather could bring delays or postponements for the Rangers' three-game series against the Kansas City Royals through Wednesday.
Fans heading to Globe Life Park can track the incoming rain and stay alert to rapidly changing conditions by using MinuteCast®.
"The wet and unsettled pattern will last into the upcoming weekend," Mussoline said.
