Seattle: Cooler Weather to Return

September 15,2014; 8:34PM,EDT

After a three-day stretch with well above-normal high temperatures, cooler, more seasonable weather is expected in Seattle for the remainder of the week.
"Residents can expect partly sunny skies on Tuesday with a cooler high temperature in the middle 70s," Accuweather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said. "Clouds will increase on Wednesday ahead of an approaching low pressure system."
Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s through Friday.

This system will bring some showers to western Washington and the Cascades late Wednesday and through Thursday and the highs on Thursday will be around the 70-degree mark. Friday's highs will also be in the low 70s, but with more clouds than sunshine.

Edwards added that there is good news to come for warm weather lovers with another warmup expected by the weekend, including near-record highs in the upper 80s. Fans attending the football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos can expect mostly sunny and warm temperatures at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
