Atlanta will face a turbulent stretch of weather with a looming chance of storms and showers for the rest of the week.
Temperatures will be mostly lower than typical averages for this time of year. Other than a warmer Tuesday, temperatures will hover in the upper 70s. Typical highs are usually in the low 80s.
Tuesday also brings the best chance of any dry skies before the weekend unfolds.

Thunderstorms may pop up again on Wednesday but should clear out by the evening.
Showers will continue into Thursday with cloudier skies. Temperatures will continue to decline as well.

Fans headed to Turner Field over the week to catch the Braves take on the Washington Nationals and New York Mets should stay on alert for thunderstorms. At the first sign of thunder or lightning, seek indoor shelter.
Fans would also be wise to pack an umbrella or rain jacket.
Nighttime temperatures will remain consistent in the low 60s for the remainder of the week.
