Harrisburg: Dry Weather to Hold Into New Week

The trend of dry and warm weather will continue in the Harrisburg area through much of the new week.
After reaching the 80s over the weekend, highs will slip into the upper 70s early this week, temperatures still well above the normal high of 71 F.
The pleasantly warm afternoons will be preceded by cool autumn mornings with patchy fog.
This weather will be ideal for spending time in the outdoors, such as hiking to view some of the early season fall foliage.

The only chance of precipitation this week will come late on Tuesday when showers dot much of Pennsylvania.
These showers will likely be brief, bringing very little in terms of rainfall.

Temperatures are forecast to drop slightly during the second half of the week into the middle 70s before more fall-like weather returns over the upcoming weekend.
