A fairly typical pattern across southern California will remain through midweek before a warm-up occurs before the weekend.
"Tuesday will start with areas of low clouds before sunshine returns," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said. "It'll be a drier day with highs near normal in the middle 80s."

By Wednesday, morning low clouds will be confined to the immediate coastal plain with sunshine expected elsewhere.
Low clouds will give way to sun on Tuesday and Wednesday. The low cloud coverage could lead to travel delays for those flying into or out of Los Angeles International Airport.

Highs once again will be in the middle 80s.
"By Thursday and Friday, any patchy morning low clouds will break for sunshine and it'll be quite warm with highs reaching close to 90 F downtown."
Highs in the upper 90s can be expected across the Inland Empire, he added.
Sunny skies and high temperatures will persist into the weekend.
