Pittsburgh: Late Week to Feel More Like September

The second half of this week will feel more like September than the middle of August in Pittsburgh.
Yet another shot of cool air will pour across western Pennsylvania through Friday in the wake of the storm that made for a wet start to the week.
High temperatures will be held to the lower 70s both days with brisk winds creating even lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures on Thursday.
Such highs are more common in late September and roughly 10 degrees lower than normal for mid-August.

While a stray shower will dot the Laurels to the east on Thursday, dry weather will dominate Pittsburgh these days. Friday is shaping up to feature more sunshine than Thursday.

Some residents and visitors may opt for a long-sleeved shirt or light jacket at night as temperatures dip into the lower 50s in the city with many suburbs dropping into the 40s.
Temperatures will rebound into the upper 70s to start the weekend, but humidity will remain comfortably low and dry weather will persist.

The return of higher humidity and thunderstorms is expected for Sunday.
