South Carolina, Georgia Rattled by Earthquake

4.1 Earthquake Rattles the South

An earthquake gave some in the south a jolt.
In the wake a devastating ice storm, some in the Deep South got an unexpected jolt from a 4.1 earthquake Friday night. The tremor was centered about seven miles west-northwest from Edgefield, S.C.
According to the South Carolina Emergency Operations Center, there haven't been any reports of injuries or damage.
Numerous social media reports suggest the shaking was felt in places such as Augusta, Columbia, S.C., Metro Atlanta, and even possibly as far away as Roanoke, Va.
