Major Snowstorm to Hit Harrisburg Wednesday Night, Thursday

A southern storm will bring heavy snow and major disruptions to travel and daily activities around Harrisburg, Pa., Wednesday night through Thursday.
The storm has the potential to bring the heaviest snowfall of the winter to much of the region.
Expect flight delays and cancellations to increase ahead of the winter storm into Wednesday as it hits southern hubs.
Cold, dry weather is in store for the local area through Wednesday afternoon.
Snow will spread over the region from south to north Wednesday night.

Many areas over south-central and southeastern Pennsylvania and neighboring Maryland are likely to receive a foot of snow from the storm. A few locations may get more.
Blowing and drifting snow Thursday into Thursday night will add to cleanup issues and travel difficulties.
The snow will depart Thursday night, but disruptions to travel and daily activities may continue on Valentine's Day.
