Although the winter weather has departed the area, travel delays are still likely with power outages remaining a big concern.
As of Friday afternoon, more than 78,000 electric customers were without power across the entire state of Georgia.

A major warmup will begin in the city on Saturday, as temperatures jump up close to 10 degrees, nearing the 60 F mark.
Through the remainder of the weekend and into next week temperatures will rise, hovering around 70 F by Thursday.
