For folks hoping for a change in the weather, there is some good news next week.
After yet another storm passes through the upper part of the mid-Atlantic and New England with snow Monday night into Tuesday, temperatures will trend above average for the middle and latter part of the week.
In the wake of the snowstorms, people are urged to walk and drive defensively.
Another system threatens to drop several inches of snow from Minnesota to Massachusetts Sunday night through Tuesday. Temperatures will be close to freezing in Philadelphia, potentially allowing for a mix of rain and snow.
The best chance of several inches of snow will be to the north and west of the city.

How warm it will get after the snow is tricky as the ground and area waterways are cold and/or frozen and many areas will have to melt a substantial amount of snow beforehand.
The sun's energy will first focus on melting that snow before warming up the lower atmosphere.
